It was named after St. Edward the Confessor, “known to be pious and unworldly, was the only king of England who
became a saint. Choosing a saint of English lineage is in keeping with the
Britannia or English countryside theme of Lancaster New City (source:

“The school’s emblem is green to
stand for the PRO-FRIENDS’ corporate color. The star with six points at the
center signifies celestial goodness and nobility. This represents St. Edward’s
high standards of discipline and morality. The crest signifies honor &
readiness of the school to serve the public.
The crown on top of the crest is actually St. Edward’s crown which
represents his prominent example in the development of the students in the
community. The 2 fronds of laurel signify the quest for quality, Christian
education.”
Catholic in character, the school envisions itself to be a learning
institution that transforms lives by nurturing minds to realize dreams and
potentials of the youth into becoming individuals with integrity imbued with
Christian values in the service of the society.
On the other hand, the school’s mission is to become humble tribute to
God while manifesting the ideals of St. Edward. The school also promotes
quality human and Christian education to the youth and the disadvantaged
through the provision of a healthy learning environment.
The said school was also established as a manifestation of Profriends’
PRO-EDUCATION corporate social responsibility. The company highly values
education since it is the root of many things like personality development,
skill development, and moral development of an individual. As much as it can,
Pro Friends reach out to where education needs to be present.
The school was launched in 2012 and is supervised by the Lasallian
Schools Supervision Office (part of the Lasallian Schools Supervision Services
Association Inc.). It offers its services to Kinders 1-2, Grades 1-4, and 1st
to 2nd year highschool students.
“Green and white colors filled
the main building of the St. Edward Integrated School (SEIS) during its
inauguration and blessing last April 14, 2012. The school’s blessing and
inauguration was attended by representatives from the Department of Education,
Lasallian Schools Supervision Office (LASSO), Pro-friends executives and
officers, and SEIS Board of Trustees, officers and staff.” (source:
