Fun Lifestyle at Lancaster New City

Living in suburban areas promotes a tranquil living experience. But city people who are used to a fast-paced urban lifestyle have this mindset that living in a quiet residential community is boring and slow. They imagine that a quiet lifestyle makes everything less fun. As a person who used to live in the city, I used to think that way, too. But now that I am living in Lancaster New City (a project of PRO-FRIENDS or Property Company of Friends Inc), I now know better. Allow me to share some of the ways we have fun in LNC.

Unlike most city dwellers who sign up for gyms, suburban residents can greatly enjoy the great outdoor environment for exercise and play. The air we get to breathe while walking, running, jogging, weight lifting, dancing, or practicing yoga is surely cleaner and fresher than the air-conditioned cramped rooms of a gym. Plus, the environment can be enjoyed for free!

Luckily, we also have a clubhouse and swimming pool nearby. We won’t need to travel far just to enjoy a cool pool. We also won’t need to compete with so many people in reserving time slots for the use of tennis courts or basketball courts.

In the city, the terrain is so cramped and the air is so polluted that having a barbecue feels even more stuffy. But in Lancaster New City, we can enjoy barbecue moments with family and friends without getting annoyed by smoke.

There are community programs held every now and then and the new bonds made by homeowners are really heartfelt. I’m not completely concluding that it is not the same for city dwellers but the limited number of people living together who share the same sentiments of enjoying peace and harmony really ensure the closeness and warmth of a loving community.

We can still enjoy a night of drinks and chitchat through local pubs outside the village (yet nearby). Although these are not clubs where you have to wear flashy clothes and aim to be hip and modern, these pubs still allow guests to enjoy the night with friends or new people over drinks and bar chow.

When it comes to shopping and watching movies, we may not have the usual big malls like the ones in the city but we have Lancaster Square and SunTech iPark for that. We can also go out of the village and go to the nearby Robinsons or SM malls. Of course, we can still visit the city for those big malls.

For events, we can hold that at Leighton Hall or Lancaster Square. There are other event venues available outside of Lancaster, too. So I guess that sums up on how we do not fall short on fun compared to the city lifestyle. I hope this debunks the backward thinking that living in a residential community is very boring.
